This spunky girls name is Gabby! Gabby was found running as a stray who took almost two weeks to catch. She was skin and bones when she was finally caught and spent some time with an animal lover who held onto her until we had space for her. We believe she is around a year and a half old Hound and Pittie mix. This girl loves to run! She gets the typical zoomies and we actually have to keep a leash on her in the yard as she likes to play keep away. She is timid with new people but does warm up to them with time. We believe it would be difficult to find a dog she would get along with as she has a pushy personality when it comes to greeting other dogs. She certainly has a prey drive so no cats in the home would be best. We believe she would be ok with children over ten in the right environment. She is a typical energetic young dog that just needs some basic training and socialization and has the potential to make a wonderful family member!

This cute little bundle of spunks name is Buddy aka Stubby! Buddy looks to be a Basset Hound mix at around four to five years old. He was brought to us when his previous owner could no longer keep him due to housing issues. Unfortunately Buddy suffers from some sincere fear issues and is anxious around too much energy. He would love a quiet home where he can take his time to settle in and lounge around to his heart's content. He does well taking walks and could possibly live with a calmer dog. He does not do well with children or cats. He is a very loyal dog and has sincerely clung on to one of our staff but does tolerate other staff and volunteers. If you have a quieter home and are looking to give an anxious dog another chance then Buddy might just be your man!

This handsome boys name is Max! Max is a two-year-old Border Collie mix who had a rough start at life. He is mostly blind and had cataract surgery over the summer. Unfortunately post-surgery during a re-check of his eyes he is shown to have progressive retinal atrophy, which means his eyesight will continue to worsen, and once totally blind, he will need both eyes removed to eliminate the possibility of glaucoma. He is well adjusted to being blind, but has unfortunately shown reactivity to strangers, both human and animals. He is an intelligent dog with good food motivation and we are hopefully in the right home he will be able to be worked with to reduce his issues with strangers. Ideally he should go to someone with a fenced in yard as he loves to play fetch and wrestle with his toys. Once he is comfortable with someone he does remember them and becomes a big, playful sweetheart. He is also excellent for his multiple daily eye medications. In the right home this boy shows promise to make someone a wonderful companion!
